At Stockviksverken, we have the only production facility for Pergopak in the world. Pergopak is an additive primarily used in paints and varnishes, but also as a carrier of fertilizers in the agricultural industry. The manufacturing in Stockvik is contract production exclusively for our customer Martinswerk GmbH in Germany. The factory employs a dedicated team of 14 employees, and the Pergopak production is part of the operations within Akzo Nobel Adhesives.

What will you be working on?
- Ensure that our raw materials are produced safely, with the right quality and on time.
- Perform process analyses, check the physical status of the facility, conduct self-inspections, and carry out operator maintenance.
- Contribute to a disruption-free production by proactively noticing deviations and performing preventive maintenance.
- Ensure that applicable operating instructions, production plans, quality requirements, and routines are followed.
- Report and correct quality and environmental deviations.
- Ensure that given production resources are utilized in such a way that optimal production is achieved.
- Actively participate in ensuring that LEAN, 5S work, and BBS are followed.
- Act as a substitute process operator.
The position is permanent, with immediate start. You will work daytime, but evening and night work may occur. Reporting will be to the Production Leader based in Stockvik.
Feedback on your application will be provided after Christmas and New Year.
Who are you?
As a person, you have a very good ability to work independently and make your own decisions. You are a flexible team player who looks beyond your own tasks to get the job done. You also thrive in a sometimes fast-paced environment. You have good experience working in production with relevant tasks. To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
- Three-year process engineering high school or experience as a process operator.
- Experience in process analyses and participating in ongoing safety work such as improvement work, documentation, safety rounds, and risk analyses.
- Experience in conducting self-inspections and performing operator maintenance.
- Proactively notice deviations and perform preventive maintenance, contributing to a disruption-free production.
- Good PC skills; Windows and Office.
- Good knowledge, both spoken and written, in Swedish and English.
Meritorious:
- Experience with standardized work processes and continuous improvements.
- Data skills with a focus on control and regulation technology as well as chemistry knowledge are meritorious.
- Forklift license.
